Bergsig Special School is hosting their Annual Motor Show on the 26th of May, 2007 in Uitenhage and everyone is invited to attend. People are invited to enter the competition or rent stalls. This promises to be the premier motoring event of the year and everybody is invited to participate. Uitenhage is after all the hub of the motor industry in South Africa, the home of companies like Volkswagen, Goodyear, Gearmax, Hella and many more.
The programme for the day will include the following activities:
A procession through the streets of Uitenhage, with cars assembling at the Willow Dam from where they will proceed to Bergsig School
Once at Bergsig, the cars will be parked for exhibition as well as judging by the panel. (Owners of vintage or classic cars who want to exhibit
them can also do so. Please contact us on the numbers listed above for more information). Prizes will be given for the respective class winners.
Quad bike race.
4X4 race.
Motorcycle race.
All races will be offroad events.
Wine auction.
Entertainment will be provided by a Jazz Band as well as local artists who will perform throughout the day.
There will be a beer tent as well as a large number of food stalls.
